AeroShoes does not stop this phenomenon, the material simply eliminates the excess of sweat

Sweat...
One of the problems linked to shoes is the sweat of the sole of the foot. This sweat inside the shoe impregnates the original insole or the sole and often causes significant damages to the skin. Alain GOLDCHER* explains us where the sweat comes from.

"There are approximately 600 sudoriparous glands per cm²; the sweating allows the regulation of the body temperature (40g/hour). So, the plantar sweat prevents the foot from sliding when walking and hydrates the hard skin."

However, the sweat also causes a number of problems. It favours plantar burnings while walking. As the sweat is subject to chemical and physical transformations its "aggressiveness" favours eczema as well as skin diseases (dermatitis, ketratolysis...). Last but not least, the sweat supports additional infections by bacteria or mycosis which cause unpleasant smell (bromhydrosis) and skin problems.

The AeroShoes membrane quickly absorbs water (sweat) through its pores. It stores up to 100% of its own (dry) weight within its porous structure and very quickly desorbs (evaporates) the stored water when exposed to air.

AeroShoes respects the physiological need to sweat. It does not suppress this natural process. AeroShoes keeps you dry and comfortable by absorbing the sweat. Conventional anti-sweat treatments (gel, powder …), however, plug the skin pores and thus prevent the foot from sweating altogether.

Sweating is a physiological necessity which enables the body to self regulate its temperature. AeroShoes does not stop this phenomenon; the material simply eliminates the excess of sweat.
