Conventional materials, such as activated carbon, leather and synthetic fibres can also absorb humidity. However, these materials usually bind the sweat very strongly into their structure. The water desorbs (evaporates) only very slowly. Once the saturation capacity of the material is reached, they have to be dried for a very long period of up to 8 hours and more.

AeroShoes not only has a tremendous absorption capacity, but it is also characterised by a superior desorption rate. This allows

 AeroShoes to quickly regenerate by evaporating the stored water (sweat).

A saturated AeroShoes-membrane will completely dry within less than two hours.

Additionally the air in the porous structure of the AeroShoes membrane isolates the foot and keeps it warm.

   Technical characteristics
The various tests (absorption,desorption resistance...) have been carried out by the Centre Technique du Cuir** of Lyon, France, which approves the innovation of the product.

Additional functions to AeroShoes can easily be added by laminating it tono other material, e.g. shock absorbers, non wovens, leather …. It is also possible to coat AeroShoes with antibacterian and fungicidal agents, in order to respond to medical requirements

AeroShoes is produced as either a white or grey film. Thicknesses in the range from 0.25…1.20mm are available. Roll material can be cut to widths between 100…980mm. Please do not hesitate to contact us, if you need any further information.
